Port of Baltimore Reopened
2024-05-23

Dear Valued Customer,

After nearly two months, the Port of Baltimore has been reopened to all vessel traffic, as the Maryland Transportation Authority opened up a 400-foot-wide, 50-foot-deep channel in the Baltimore harbor – allowing deep draft vessels to have access to the port.

As a result of this new channel being opened, carriers are now beginning to accept bookings to Baltimore. Therefore, please reach out to your logistics advisor if you are interested in either importing or exporting your cargo directly through the Port of Baltimore, or understanding how shipping your cargo through this port could be strategically advantageous to your supply chain strategy.

In the meantime, please reach out to your customer service representative if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

OEC Group
