In an effort to promote cleaner energy use, the port authorities of Los Angeles and Long Beach have announced a new Clean Truck Fund charge. The ports will assess $10 per TEU entering or exiting the ports beginning April 1.

Drayage companies exempt from this fee will be those registered as low-NOx or zero emissions.

Therefore, we are recommending all clients to partner with their logistics consultant who can advise on the most effective pricing strategies to minimize the effect these additional fees may have on your bottom line.
