Updated Notice Regarding China Branch offices extension of CNY holidays

The Chinese government has adopted epidemic prevention measurements against Coronavirus to extend the CNY holidays to February 3, and authorized local governments to implement epidemic prevention measurements as appropriate. Governments in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Chongqing, Shandong, Liaoning and Tianjin have all announced delayed work date and extend the holidays until February 9.

 

To better cooperate with China government epidemic prevention measurements against Coronavirus; along with OEC China staffs safety, OEC China offices will resume normal operations on February 10, 2020. During this period, OEC China offices will assist customers to solve any concerns by telecommuting or having partial shift. During the CNY holidays extension period, new bookings and shipments will be affected by delayed resumption of work. It will gradually ease after China resumes normal work. For the goods that have been shipped or arrived at the transit port during CNY holidays and extended holiday period; OEC is working with the carriers to minimize the impact of delayed delivery.
