A sharp increase of COVID cases has forced China to enact a lockdown of Ningbo, Shaoxing, and Hangzhou. While the ports remain open, no traffic is permitted in or out of these districts. We are anticipating the lockdowns to cause, in all regions, cargo slowdowns and a reduction in outbound cargo.

Due to the potential for delays, OEC Group is proactively coordinating with our partners to ensure that shipments are made with the least possible disruption. We are also encouraging our customers to get their orders in earlier than normal in order to minimize the impact of these lockdowns.

Our international offices will remain fully operational during this period and we will continue to closely monitor the situation in China. We will issue periodic updates as necessary.
