The Suez Canal is currently blocked by a containership, causing a backlog of vessels waiting to pass through the main shipping route between Europe and Asia. Evergreen Marine's container vessel, the "Ever Given", ran aground while navigating the canal. It could take up to five days to refloat the vessel in order clear this crucial waterway and for normal operations to resume.

OEC is working with our carrier partners to proactively identify and prevent delays to your cargo due to this incident.
